Regular Gardens Have Become Obsolete
The new idea of having a green wall, that is a vertical interior garden, was adopted by the designers of office buildings in particular mostly because of the specificity that this kind of wall would imply but also because of the costs. Seldom does a company have enough room to create a garden for its employees alongside the office building and the parking lot, this is why, designers have decided to apply the modern technology in order to create a green space inside the building. It is not as easy as you would imagine because there are many elements one has to take into consideration such as: layers of metal, plastic and air to allow the plants to get the oxygen they need, temperature control, allowing them to grow and, of course, humidity.
Despite these costly and huge efforts, the result is extraordinary. It can take any size or shape so it can fit almost any location, not to mention the fact that the plants themselves provide oxygen and moisture and therefore improving the living conditions in the building it is placed in. The species of plants chosen for such a project must also be carefully scrutinized so that their growth and length should not interfere with the surroundings.
