Taking the Expression Buried in Books to another Level

What if you came home one day filled with the joy of having purchased your favorite bookcase and when you tried to assemble the piece of furniture you would stand dumbfound with the instructions for how to build a coffin in your hands? It’s not the salespeople playing a prank on you; it’s just the new approach that the designer William Warren adopted for a multi-purpose bookcase.

Even though it is rather morbid having your coffin on display in your living room, the bookcase which can be taken down into parts and transformed into a coffin is a very practical idea. On the one hand, you can choose your own coffin and make a good use of it while you are still alive, thus sparing your loved ones of the troublesome search of a perfect coffin to burry you in when you’re gone. On the other hand, however, you cannot scratch the thought of having your own coffin in the house. Leaving that aside, the bookshelf has a very interesting but simple design being situated at the border of modern and classic furniture. It can find its place in almost every home, unless you are bothered by the thought of it being a coffin as well, regardless of how much money or how many trees you spare.
