The designers at Alienology have developed a new lamp that is sure to catch your eye. They call it the Spore Lamp and it is made out of a single sheet of plywood and it looks as if the wood is trying to cover the light.

The effect it creates is absolutely amazing and the design, if you take each part apart, is rather simple, but it is astonishing what simple design and imagination can create. The lamp can be assembled in short under 15 minutes, and this if you have never assembled something in your life before. The curvy ribs interlock on a small sheet but the design is so well done that you see the lines running smoothly.

It can be matched with a wooden table and chairs to make your living room classy and stylish or you can decorate your bedroom with this interesting piece. The lamp is 76 cm high and it does not take up much of your space so you might find it fits everywhere. The Spore Lamp is mostly designed to be put on the floor, but if you have a middle height table and wish to display the lamp, nothing is going to stop you.
