Consider Leaning on These Tower Shelves

It is a very interesting idea that, put into practice, brings sense and simplicity into your home. These Tower of Pisa shelves look as if they would lean on one side just like the tower of Pisa. This is also where they got their name from.

The Tower of Pisa Shelves have a very simple structure and are made to look as if they were wooden boxes put one on top of the other. They can be contracted into one simple box that gives no hint as to what it can be transformed into.

Expanded, this wooden box becomes a series of shelves, each standing on a different angle from the one underneath it so it creates the impression of the entire set of shelves rotating and leaning on one side.

The stability of this piece of furniture is in question, however, the designer has thought of this too. The shelves are connected by an elastic rope that runs through the middle from top to bottom, adding stability to the whole. We would not recommend this piece of furniture for a modern and glamorous home, since the finishing is not fit to be combined with more luxurious items.
