Hide Your Lamp Away

Victor Boeda has given a totally new meaning to the concept of dimming the lights. Dimming the light in a room was an innovative idea that has caught well amongst consumers and has proven to be a well thought of trick, but up until now, the way in which this has been done is by having a switch which would dim the light when turned.

This Parisian designer comes with a brand new concept of dimming the light with the help of the zipper. I bet you did not think of using a zipper for you favorite’s lamp design, but Victor Boeda has.

This lamp is called “Cache-Cache” from the French word that means hidden and the principle is to actually hide the lamp inside a flexible material, users are therefore required to unzip the lamp and release the light.

Simple, fun and functional, this lamp is suited to be placed on the desk or directly on the floor, and the intensity of the light is directly proportional to the way in which one unzips the material. The light comes in various colors: green, silver white and dark lilac so you can choose the one that would best suit your needs.
